Amazing 31mm toned silver medal, “The Martyr President”, by George Hampden Lovett. Unpierced. Beautiful steel blue and lavender toning, highly reflective fields, and a cameo appearance bust. King-257, Cunningham 9-380S.

Obverse: Left facing Lincoln bust; “Abm. Lincoln, The Martyr President” around; “Key F.” microscopic lower right of bust.

Reverse: “Born Feb. 12. 1809 1st Inaug. March 4. 1861 2nd Inaug. March 4. 1865 Died Apr. 15. 1865”
