World’s Fair 1904 Official Souvenir Playing Cards “Published & Copyright 1904 By Samuel Cuppler Envelope Co. St. Louis & New York”. This is a complete deck of 54 cards (52 standard plus the Joker and Title cards), with vignette reproductions of photographs celebrating the Louisiana Purchase Exposition. Gilt edges remain on all cards. The images depict different individuals from cultures around the world, architectural shots of participating country and state’s fair structures, and monuments erected for the event. Original gilt letting on the slipcase.

Cards in excellent condition, with minor age related wear and few areas of discoloration. No rips or tears. Clip case in used condition, used. Gilt edging around cards in good condition, only trace rubbing off, if any.
