57.2mm, bronze. Uncirculated, beautiful color! Musante GW-981, Baker S-319, Miller ANS-6. Design in America by Charles Osborne, and struck at the Royal Mint in Stockholm, Sweden.
Obverse: Full length figure of George Washington standing on pedestal; “1783” to left; “1883” to right; Below, microscopic “C. Osborne, Inv. Lea Ahlborn Fec.”
Reverse: Near center, circles featuring seals of New York City at left, American Numismatic Society at right, and New York Chamber of Commerce in center. “To Commemorate the Centennial Anniversary of the Evacuation of New York By the British” above; “And the Erection by the Chamber of Commerce of the State of New York of the Washington Statue in Wall Street” below.
